Alikiba, AY, Diamond, Vanessa Mdee, Navy Kenzo, Yamoto Band, Harmonize na Ommy Dimpoz ndiyo wasanii pekee walioweza kuchaguliwa kuwania tuzo za Hipipo Music Awards 2017 za Uganda.
Katika tuzo hizo Diamond ndio msanii pekee wa Tanzania aliyechaguliwa katika vipengele vingi ambavyo ni vinne akifuatiwa na AY, Alikiba pamoja na Navy Kenzo ambao wote wamewekwa katika vipengele viwili huku waliobakia wakiwania tuzo hizo katika kipengele kimoja.
Good news ni kwamba, kwa upande wa Wasanii kutoka Tanzania walioibuka na ushindi wa Tuzo hizo ni Diamond Platnumz ambaye kabeba tuzo mbili kwenye vipengele vya Quinquennial Africa Music Vanguard Award na East Africa Best Video Kupitia wimbo wake wa Salome akiwa na Rayvany, Ali Kiba pia ameshinda tuzo ya Wimbo Bora wa Mwaka kutoka Tanzania na wimbo wake wa AJE na Navy Kenzo Wameshinda tuzo ya East Africa Best New Act na wimbo wao wa Kamatia chini.
Tuzo hizo zilitolewa katika ukumbi wa Kampala Serena Hotel.
